In his role, Mr. Colao will leverage his extensive expertise in technology, consumer and digital platforms to provide strategic advice to the firm’s global investment team and portfolio companies across EMEA. He previously served as Senior Advisor to General Atlantic from 2019 until he was 2021.
Mr. Colao served as Minister of Innovation and Digital Transition for the Italian government from 2021 to 2022, leading the growth of comprehensive and efficient digital services across Italy and overseeing the country’s space program before joining the company. back to Prior to that, he spent 20 years at the Vodafone Group, where he served as Group Chief Executive Officer for 10 years, growing the business into one of the largest telecommunications groups in the world.
