Phoenix Copper Ltd (AIM:PXC, OTCQX:PXCLF) said David Jarvis has been appointed as the new general manager of Konnex Resources Inc, the company’s Idaho-registered operating subsidiary, succeeding Zach Black.
With 40 years of experience in project management and mine operations, Jarvis has held positions such as managing director of Eldorado Gold’s China operations and vice president/general manager of Coeur Mexicana. He said he was an emerging producer.
Commenting on his appointment, Jarvis said in a statement: The plan is to develop Empire’s open pit copper mine and develop nearby exploration facilities. ”

Phoenix Copper CEO Ryan McDermott added:
“Under his leadership, we are confident that the Empire Mine and surrounding assets will reach their full potential.”
The AIM-listed company said former general manager Black will continue to support Konnex’s operations as a qualified personnel (QP) with a focus on mining and process engineering.
