A Dallas-based pet waste cleaning and disposal company recently opened its first franchise in Arkansas.
Scoop the Soldier on Centerton’s 961 Skyline Loop Serves Northwest ArkansasThe company provides pet waste cleanup to residential and commercial clients, including hotels, apartment complexes and other pet-friendly businesses, according to a news release.
Centerton franchisee Jeff Easterling said the new franchise is the company’s first in the state.
“We do our best to put our customers at ease,” said Easterling. “We complete background checks on all employees and arrive in company trucks and uniforms. We provide services that impact both dog owners and non-dog owners.”
Easterling has lived in Northwest Arkansas since 2014. His professional background includes managing corporate restaurants such as Chili’s, Texas Roadhouse and Chick-fil-A. He also has experience working with retailers and food service providers.

In addition to removing pet waste, the company offers deodorization and hygiene services. Her single cleaning of up to four dogs starts at about $80, according to the website. His one cleaning a week costs about $19 per visit, while three times a week cleaning costs about $15 per visit.
Nationally, the company operates 32 franchises and 9 corporate operations in 9 states. According to the release, it expects growth in Texas, Georgia, Oklahoma, Florida and Ohio, with room to secure 10 more locations in Arkansas.
