Everyone has their own preferences as to which 100-yen shop they go to, and Dollar General is always one of the choices.
Maybe it’s just me, but I always feel like Dollar General has a little bit more of what you want. Obviously, it makes sense why the night passes.
On New Year’s Day, however, many may head there for a snack or because they don’t want to step into the grocery store. Either way, there’s something to be said about seeing that iconic yellow and black sign, especially if you’re in the most random of places.
If you’re out and about on New Year’s Day, you might want to know if Dollar General’s doors are open or closed.

If you’re looking to get your hands on something, or are really craving something from Dollar General, I’ve got some good news for you. Open on time. This comes via the Krazy Koupon Lady who’s honestly rocking for 2023.
There are many different options for what to get at DG, but I’m sure you can find something near you. Jokes aside, this yellow and black sign seems to come out of nowhere while driving, like a beacon of light. Especially useful if you’ve been driving for a while and need a place to stretch your legs or grab a snack.
Regardless of what you decide to do to celebrate the New Year, everyone knows at least Dollar General can open up and get something for you.
