Hasan and Glazyev also spoke during the meeting about the Joint Working Group (JWG) between Indonesia and the EEC. Indonesia Welcoming various initiatives to maximize the potential of the economic relationship between the two countries, he added that it is very important for both parties to complete the negotiations as soon as possible.
Meanwhile, Mr Glazyev said bilateral trade was very good, but there was still room for improvement.
Discussions on FTA agreements and technical cooperation under the MoC are expected to facilitate two-way trade and investment flows, he added.
Total trade between Indonesia and the EAEU from January to November 2022 reached US$4 billion, a year-on-year increase of 32.75%.
