SYRACUSE — General Brown freshman Zoey Jewett won the £94 championship with a pin at the NYSPHSAA Girls Wrestling Invitational at SRC Arena on Friday night.
Jewett, who was the division’s top seed, pinned Sienna Kozari of Harrison High School in Section 1 in 3:37. She recorded pinfall wins in all four matches.
Sophomore and No. 2 seed Zoe Griffiths was runner-up at 132 pounds.
General Brown’s senior Bristol branch finished fifth with 235, 4-2.

Tucker Rothbrook poured 30 points into the Lions’ victory over the Comets in a divisional crossover game at Dexter.
Luke Heller contributed 12 points to General Brown (12-2, 10-1) to tie the night for first place in the ‘B’ division with Rowville. The Lions also entered the week in which he ranked 24th in Class B states.
Hudson Hunt scored 17 points and paced Sandy Creek (10-6, 9-6) with Mason Enist adding 10 points.

Dalton Myers scored 22 points and Brody Brown supplied 15 as the Red Raiders outscored the Warriors in a divisional crossover game in Philadelphia.

Madison Cheek scored 16 goals in Copenhagen (12-3, 12-0).
Emmeline Burton also scored 22 points at Lafargeville (6-7, 6-6).

Neva Bettinger posted a double-double of 16 points and 10 rebounds as the Panthers beat the Patriots in the ‘D’ division game in Belleville.
Keeley Roach also doubled with 10 points and 10 rebounds, and Raygun Riordan added 10 points to Belleville Henderson (8-6, 8-3).
Lily Green led all scorers at Sackett’s Harbor with 17 points (5-9, 5-8).

Jakailas Spence supplied 20 points as the Red Raiders outscored the Falcons in a crossover game at Rowville.
