Midland — General Motors awarded Northwood University $100,000 to host a car camp for high school seniors.
“Full Tank Automotive Camp helps students explore careers across the automotive industry, including design, development, manufacturing, sales, marketing, service and aftermarket,” said Northwood University’s Automotive Marketing and Management Program. Chairman Elgie Bright explains.
The camp will be held June 11-16 at Northwood College in Midland. Northwood University is nationally recognized in the automotive industry for both undergraduate-level automotive studies and graduate-level automotive management programs.
“The Full Tank Automotive Camp is a great opportunity for motivated young students to grow their business skill sets,” said Bright. “With the guidance of current Northwood University students and faculty, campers will learn from industry experts through hands-on exploration. You can start.”
