LANSING, Michigan (WILX) – Lieutenant Governor Garlin Gilchrist joins General Motors officials to announce major manufacturing investments at locations across Michigan at 11 a.m. on Friday in Flint. .
Lieutenant Governor Gilchrist will also attend the Northern Michigan Policy Conference, which will be held in Traverse City at approximately 12:45 p.m. A keynote speech will be given to discuss the efforts that have been made. He creates over 300 jobs.
In addition to his first stop, the lieutenant governor will be participating in a $20 million expansion plan for Traverse City Whiskey Co., which will bring nearly 100 jobs to the area.This event will take place around 1:30pm
