The leader said the former commander of the Quds Force of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps has revived and maintained this enduring and thriving phenomenon in the face of the Zionist regime and the United States by boosting the morale of the resistance front. added.
Ayatollah Khamenei said the fact that the Lebanese resistance movement’s secretary-general Sayed Hassan Nasrallah, as a unique person, has praised Maj. He said that he clearly shows his sexuality.
He then noted the successes of the Palestinians in confronting the Zionists and the achievements of the resistance in Iraq, Syria and Yemen, and Maj. Domestic potential of the country.
The leader then spoke of the defeat of the Daesh terrorist group by the Axis of Resistance, describing it as another great achievement for Maj. Gen. Soleimani.
Ayatollah Khamenei added that Maj. Gen. Soleimani was also acquitted in that battle.
He said the gap created after the former Quds Force commander’s martyrdom was closed thanks to the efforts of the current commander, General Esmail Gahani.
General Soleimani was assassinated in a US drone strike near Baghdad International Airport on January 3, 2020. The attack also killed the deputy commander of Iraq’s Popular Mobilization Units (PMU), Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, along with several others.
The attack occurred while General Soleimani was on an official visit to the Iraqi capital.
